Service Learning Project - School Yard Clean Up
This document outlines a service learning project for students to learn about the importance of protecting the environment and their local fresh water. Students will learn how their actions impact Ottawa's fresh water and the environment. They will be able to describe the characteristics of a healthy environment, including clean air and water, and how a healthy environment enables living things to meet their needs. Students will also learn how to stop garbage from getting into the environment and what they can do to help clean up garbage that is already on the ground.
